Life is so fun with you in it.

I love that you pet the sofa and olive thinks he’s riding a horse.

You’re the best !

Glad you’re getting out to take care of those errands even if you don’t remember what they are .

Sending a big hug !

You made me giggle, Abigail. I once got stuck going into a parking at a hospital with a queue of cars behind me. My car is hybrid and would not start. People were getting angry behind me. I asked a guy to help, the car started. Similar situation to you. I still can’t figure out what he did different. I think when we are anxious our brains go into weirdo mode and then the more we worry the weirder they get! I also got the car stuck in a car wash once, with people queuing behind me on a narrow ramp. I was mortified. The entire car wash machinery blocked because my wheels were not straight. The had to do all kinds of stuff to unblock it, took hours! Meanwhile the whole “women drivers” thing was going a cappella, echoing around Switzerland! Anyway, your words aren’t wonky! Lots of love to you and Olive. xx

I've had days like this recently. Forgetting things I knew well. Yikes! I'm 84 and it's showing!

This is real life. A slice of it, anyway.

I totally get olive trying to bark in her sleep with her mouth shut.

I needed a good, rich laugh. You never fail to pick me up, along with my spirits, regardless of my sometimes pissy mood. Grazie. Remind me to tell you about the day I forgot how to turn my windshield wipers on...

Tomorrow is certain to be better. Bad days are the worst and can make me feel super fragile. But so glad Olive seems alright after the bone incident. I think it's good that you told us AND that you wrote about it :)

She had a bad day.

Turned it into an essay.

Gave us a good day.

I can identify with cluelessness — though my examples are just different. Life sometimes throws a curveball in our direction. You are so funny. I love reading you.
