UP TO HIS NECK
He’s buried in the desert. There never was a desert here before. Crazy is all over the place. This was my parents’ house before they died, and I am high in the horse chestnut. I will be safe up here for a while, even if what I hear now is the ocean roaring its head off. Oceans are everywhere now. This enormous tree is still thick and still strong. My father likened it to a church.
He is buried up to his neck. I have set up the camera so it’s attached to this other device whose name I have forgotten, but I can see everything clearly. The ants are usually hungry –there! one of them took a taste and twisted up like a ball. Do ants vomit? Odd behavior for an ant. I’m not worried. They will eventually take his face off. He is trying to shake his head hard enough for them to fall off. No can do.
Oh, hot dog!! He’s screaming out orders! Nobody here but me, and I have my own orders. This is my favorite part , when he starts crying for Roy. I’m going to watch the whole thing to the end. Then I’ll rewind.

If this is about what I think it's about (crying for Roy being the clue I'm fixed on), I love the creativity. Bravo. A writer in one of my groups yesterday imagined a rather more violent and instant end. Many otherwise peaceful and spiritual people are sharing all kinds of imaginary scenarios now. That is if this is about what I think it's about.
I always love your posts and books. This was mysterious so more, please fabulous woman.
