Wish I come attend, but alas, I cannot. Although I made a sign above my keyboard that says: "Strive to do the kind of writing that sneaks up on you and tells the truth before you've had time to tidy it up." Pure gold writing advice. Much Love, Linda Clare at The Deep End
I love this. I truly enjoy writing about food and people. It brings me back to those places, tastes, smells, and togetherness moments. I'm looking forward to the class. Thank you.
Loved your essay. So sorry I can’t attend the class. I know it will be great. I have to go to a family baby shower or I’d be there with bells on. Maybe you’ll do another one?
Oh, I'll be there, Abby. Please send reminders. Just thinking about food activates my olefactory response. I can easily smell things in my mind. This will be a fun workshop for a foodie like me.
Strange bedfellows indeed. For a few years I have been collecting photos of dishes and baked goods I have made with the intention of writing a cookbook compiled of stories connected to food and memories. Amazingly here you are again. There are times I think you read my thoughts! I think I might have to watch your zoom!
I hope to be there. I learned so much from my Indian mother, who was an excellent cook. I love to cook just for mixing things around even if no one is eating. For me it’s art. Many of my friends do not/ cannot cook, children of the 60s. Im fascinated with the stories of this group of people even more than ones of my group.
Feeling inspired to write about the food of mothers now, thank you! I’m off to a readers festival that day, otherwise I’d attend! P.S. I am curious if she became a sea creature after eating all those clams? What a transformation! 😉

We will learn from you, Mira. I'm pretty sure of that. Glad you will be there.
Perfect!
Thanks, Bar.

I'm so excited for this! <3
So glad you will be there, Lisa. Thank you!

Excellent! It will be great to have you!
Sneaky writing that speaks untidy truths requiring notice—very nice.
Hi Abby, I miss you
Abby! I miss you too, you wonderful person! I wish you lived right next door so I could see you every day. I am so glad you are in Substack now.

That's pretty amazing, Kathy. What a coincidence! I hope you can come.
Thank you for sharing about your love of cooking and writing ❤️
I love to eat and I love to cook! Thank you.
I am thrilled to be attending, dearest Abigail. I registered on 2/25. Should I be looking for an e-mail regarding the workshop?
Hi Amelia — we’ll be reaching out to everyone before the event; there’s nothing you need to do now. Glad you’ll be joining us!
Thank you. See you in a few weeks.
So excited about this!
